April 2024 Total Solar Eclipse
Today 3/24/24 & tomorrow 3/25/24 we will experience a Lunar Eclipse accompanied by the first Full Moon of Spring known as the Eagle or Goose Moon because it is during this time that the birds return and are visible as they will feast for Spring to precede one of the rarest cosmic events that will occur on April 8, 2024 at 2:07:10pm EST. It will be the first New Moon of Spring 2024, this moon will be a Supermoon meaning that it will be closest to Earth for us to observe Total Solar Eclipse 2024 where the Moon will pass between the Earth and the Sun blocking its face. This particular Total Solar Eclipse occurs every 20 years as it will cross over the United States, Mexico and Canada. It is during this eclipse that the sky will darken as if it were daybreak or sunset and an event like this will not occur again until August 23, 2044. The path of the eclipse includes its travel from Mexico entering the United States in Texas to then travel through Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri
