October 2022 New Moon Reading

 

This month's New Moon is in alignment with the partial solar eclipse that will occur on 10/25/22 which will prepare us for All Hallows' Eve/All Saints' Eve occurring on 10/31/22 . Historically our ancestors would leave candles and pastries on their doorsteps for the spirits that would wander during the night in preparation for All Saints day that occurs on 11/01 which will be followed by All Souls day on 11/02. It is during this time that the transitioned spirits of our ancestors are observed and celebrated.

Past Moon

The past moon energy began on 10/21/22 and it is represented by the earth element #7 Negotiation, it is during this time that many of us realized that change was necessary with it requiring that we change the way that we approached our lives so that we can continue to move forward.

New Moon

The New Moon occurs on 10/25/22 and will be represented by the water element #8 Isolation where your focus should be on spending your personal time with those whom you love and care about so that you can express how it is that you truly feel. Making people aware of how you feel enhances connections and helps to build stronger bonds. This is especially important as holidays are approaching which can invoke a lot of emotions, you expressing your feelings now will aid you in managing your emotions that you will experience in the coming weeks. 

Future Moon

The future moon occurs on 10/28/22 in the fire element #1 Impulse, where optimism & enthusiasm are present with your focus being on brighter days and the steps necessary for you to take to experience them. Although you may experience excitement during this phase it is imperative that you temper you emotions when you can so that the good times will continue!
